Some of my hardy fuschia which have flowered so reliably for many years, are this year not doing so well. Looking healthy with lots of leaves, but not many flowers. Anyone else experiencing this? Or any ideas? They are getting old :)

Mine are just starting to show flower buds. Same as yours slow start this year, I think the slow cold spring put them back about a month.
Fuchsias are traditionally a late flowering shrub anyway...add the cold, very late spring and dry july and that may well be your answer

Keep them watered and give them a weekly liquid feed...fuchsias are hungry plants, and im sure they will flower, just a bit later.
