hi i got a lot of surfinia plugs first week in april and i potted them on into 4 inch pots and left them in the greenhouse with heat on then on 28th april i put them into hanging baskets and left them in the green house they soon filled the baskets and had masses of flowers on them when i put them out side for good that was 1st june could not get them out any earlier for bad weather and the baskets have been lovely masses of flowers but now they are nearly finished the leaves have gone yellow and brown and died but still have flowers on the front but the stems are all quite bare as leaves that were dead i took off i put food and water retaning gel in the compost when i made the baskets up and they dont have any bugs somebody said could be to much water but i think i may have made them up to early i put 2 baskets up at end of may and they are fine but up to now not as good a display of flowers as the others had but they do look realy fresh green leaves i did notice on 1 basket the leaves were turning gray can you please help thankyou    kind regards  ALEC090

Have you been deadheading them regularly?
I pot my hanging baskets with surfinia/pertunia every year and find that if I soak them with water daily and deadhead them each evening they last until at least early September.
