Can anyone tell me a good way to get rid of cat (and fox) smells in the garden, particularly around the patio area? I can't sit out in the sun until the awful smell is eliminated.

There's not much that will get rid of the smell. you need something to deter the animals that use your patio. now that is another kettle of fish. Why do they like your patio? Bins?Your animals?

re "gardenwise" I know plants, but not animals ! The patio is outside a summerhouse, so no bins or other animals so I don't know why they like it - perhaps a nice sunny spot to laze.
Try jeyes fluid
I have a virburnum bush by the front door and sometimes it absolutely stinks. I have always thought it`s foxes but I`ve seen cats in the back garden spraying the bushes and the smell is the same. I presume the spray is oily which is why it`s difficult to get rid of. A friend put jeyes fluid around the viburnum but the bush then just smelt like a public toilet. Apparently putting crushed mothballs in the area deters the animals. Maybe prevention is better than cure.
Perhaps a neighbour near you has a `Flowering Currant`, as they smell like cat`s wee.
Everyone likes cat smell :-)
