I tried to clean the cold side of our kitchen mixer tap and now it drips. What can I do to stop it? The tap is a Latitude 'W' mixer tap.I took it apart and now when I've come to tighten it all back up the black 'bit' that screws back in seems to run out presumably the threads are damaged.I've tried plumbers tape etc.It is really more than a drip now!!Please help before I get the plumber!
Thank you in advance

Well ... They're ceramic. So you need a ceramic type overhaul kit (if you can find one)

As Al says ... an overhaul kit or possibly a replacement cartridge if you can find one .... personally I would'nt bother as you say you may have damaged the thread.
As far as mixer taps go why not replace them as they are fairly cheap ...
