I started laying my laminate flooring yesterday in the bedroom, I have finished (yay) but there is a large gap on one wall which is about 1/3 the width of a plank (floating flooring) IT is far too big to fit under the edging (which I haven't layed yet), what is the best way to solve this problem please, as I'd like to sleep in there again soon!

Typical laminate flooring should have 1/3 to 1/2 inch space around all perimeters. (Please tell me you didn't butt the opposite edge hard against the wall). Sounds like you'll have to cut the final course to fit. A simple job, really, but be sure to use a fine toothed saw or circular saw blade as well as run a course of common masking tape over the area you intend to...

Best of luck!

thanks that's really helpful, i'll get on that now and hopefully all should be well, and don't worry, I left the spacers round the edge of the other walls so it didn't butt. :D
Don't forget (in case you haven't already done it) to remove the spacers before you lay the edging.
