It is for a temporary repair of my motorbike indicator until I get the chance to get it done properly. I snap it when brushing past it in my garage one day.

I've tried super gule, which worked for a bit, but has now failed
I would have thought two part araldite would be best.

Does Araldite give an 'instant grab'?

What I'm after, if such a substance exists, is a stronger version of Super Glue, whereby I can apply it, hold it in place for a minute or so and then voila!
You could use both...Use 5-minute Araldite for strength on most of the join, interspersed with a couple of small dabs of suprglue just to hold things in place while the Araldite sets.
Look on Ebay for Gorilla Glue, I have heard it it excellent and is also waterproof (unlike superglue).
