Where have all the old fashioned hardware stores gone?...the nice man in a brown overall & a pencil behind his ear would know what I meant by 'twisty, bolty thingy' (even if it hadn't been invented).

Shaney, I know you mean well and I know I am stupid!!! I\'ll give it until Monday, have a bottle or two of whiskey and then phone the doctors!!!! My ribs are definitely on the mend as they are not so painful when I cough. The sciata has calmed down a little although it reminds me it is still there every now and then. It\'s just this wretched cough now.

¡por fin! the ghastly yellow armchair covers have been replace by clean (although not as perfect as I expected) beige ones again, house back to normal. Poor Mr N has to sit on a blanky if he\'s dirty from work! For what it cost me, I\'ll wash them myself next time, but I thought they would do a better job than I have in the past, but seems about the same!!

I too hope all with aches and pains are getting better. My face is clearing up a bit now but I think I'm going to have a little scar above my lip which doesn't please me but I suppose it couild have been worse so shouldn't moan really.
I've actually been gardening a bit this morning. Not for very long just cutting back stuff that looks dead to me.
Lottie I did mention about the last and first posting on a page a few pages ago because it happened to me so I wait like you to see if my post appears now before repeating it.
Just waiting for my friend to come for a cuppa in a few minutes so see yer later!

Actually wore jeans today as it is a bit chillier but after sitting in the sun for coffee I was boiling hot!

Well I can see the Rain on my Window and my washing is Blowin in the wind sopping wet .No more Lazing on a sunny afternoon round here by the look of it out there.My computer is on the Road to Hell and I'm having to faff with this laptop thing.It won't let me into my internet setting .Mr S seems to be able access his but not moi.
I'll have to wait for Mothers litte helper to fix it . Whereupon he'll probably yell Mama Mia ,oops you've done it again.
I had a phone call from the hospital this morning and they want me to go at the unearthly hour of 8.30 on Tuesday to have my leg looked at by the nurses .God knows why .More medical mystery tours :)
