Re-enamel a range style oven

We are about to buy a new house where the sellers are leaving behind a free-standing range style oven (in a dark green colour).

I am wondering what brand/type of paint would be best for the job of re-painting/spraying it so it is a more pleasing colour, e.g. white/black.

thanks

The paint-work is enameled on at very high temperatures, really they need to be re-enammeled and that costs a couple of thousand pounds

Thanks for your help jake-the-peg. Would this process be required for a non-Aga range cooker - the link shows the model in question.

Don't know about that - the Rayburns and Aga's are cast iron and have enameled surfaces.

That looks like it might be simply enamel paint that could be ( ideally stripped back) and overpainted with something like this:

That looks ideal - I think I will try it in an inconspicuous area first of all.

Thanks
how about trying radiator paint? should be heat resistant enough for an oven. stripping down is a messy laborious job, i would just rub it down with flatting paper and then degrease it before re-painting.
i have the same cooker all electric though - as far as I know you cannot repaint them, I would suggest getting in touch with the manufacturer for advice. otherwise sell it and get another one in the colour you like.
