Has anyone had the wall cavity insulation done? Did it make any difference to your heating bills? I have seen an ad in my local newspaper and feel that maybe I should get it done.

Got it last spring. Has made the house warmer. Must have saved on heating bill.

This is an excellent investment especially if you can get it done for free which you can if you are on any kind of benefit.
It makes a lot of difference to the warmth in the house and we have found a significant saving in our fuel bill.

Yes, saved about 1/3rd on our heating bill. Get Rockwool though! Not fibre glass or formaldohide!
Check with your energy supplier and see if they are doing a deal or local council.
