Don't really know where to post this but does anyone know how to remove super glue from locks.? my sister has just arrived home to find her door locks have been super glued !!

Someone spiked my roller shutter garage door. In such cases if there is another access to the garage it is easy to enter and unsrew the sliding rods to operate them manually, if you need to get the car inside.
I do not have any acetone but I do have a hand-held steam cleaner which blasted the lock clean in 5 minutes! The key is flat, Yale type. I don't know how it would be with other keys.This could be followed up with acetone application.
A suitable appliance is available from JBL, at Big W stores and probably other sources. The part number I have is 50494705, and the price thirty pounds.
Experimentation with flat headed aluminium screws reveals that superglue will not work in the presence of oil! So 'immunise' your locks with frequent spraying with WD 40. I hope this info will be found helpful. helpful
