I am planning ahead, I need to move out of my flat some time later this year as it needs work to be done on it.

I am considering moving into. https://tinyurl.com/2b9k2vepand was looking to see how much it would cost. The costs of approx £120 are quoted - is this per night? I am using my Tablet and I am finding navigation of their site difficult.

As a useless bit of information I worked in that building for nearly a quarter of a century when it was an office.

The link’s broken, Wolf.
How long do you need to move out for?
Sorry, Wolfie. Your Tinyurl link appears to be dead :(
Premier Inns use 'airline pricing', whereby booking early (and for off-peak periods) can often get you quite low prices but booking at short notice (especially during peak periods) can be very expensive.

Sorry about the link

I think I will need to move out for a couple of weeks. If it is too expensive I might go and stay with my little brother.

Ruddy 'eck! I've just taken a look at the prices being charged by Premier Inn here

for 1 person for 5 nights, Monday to Friday in September. They're certainly not cheap! I'm seeing prices starting from £627.
You might find an Ibis or Travelodge cheaper but if I was you, I would go to stay with your brother. The trouble with hotels is that single occupants get screwed over - the hotel world is geared up to couples.
Travelodge is a lot cheaper. Checking in on Monday 12 Sept for 11 nights (and thus checking out on Friday 23 Sept) starts at £538.89.

I’d give them a ring, Wolf. You might be able to get a decent deal for a 2 weeks stay. Is there anything going on locally for when you put the dates in? It can make a massive difference.
If it's for central Perth try going via 5PM, it's a site like Wowcher that sells deals on hotels, dining and other stuff.

We stayed in the Mercure a while back and got a great deal, multiple purchases are usually allowed so it might be of use to you.

The only downside we found was the eye-watering bar prices but there's a handy Tesco Metro not far away. :-)
Have you tried Air B n B? You might be able to get a 1 bedroom flat and be more comfortable.
You might be better looking at AirBnB

I might have to go to stay with my little brother and his family.

Dougie is the Mercure the City Mills hotel?

I think that I need to find out how long the work will take. I have known for years that it needs to be done.
I live in the city centre so I wanted something local. I hope that I manage to get it organised this time.
AirBnB isn't much cheaper. For my sample 11 night stay, as above, they want £565 for accommodation at the Royal Perth Golf Society:

I believe Premier Inn have wanted to change their image and clientele since the days when Lenny Henry advertised rooms at £29 a night. They have moved up the 'status' ladder and are now very expensive, often as much as branded/independent hotels. At times during covid when hotel rooms were hard to find my local PI were charging well over £200 a night.
The Mercure is far more expensive:
https://www.mercureperth.co.uk/
They want £1082 for my sample 11 night stay (or £974 if you become a 'member')
Not sure Wolf, but they do have a glassed-over mill race in reception for guests to admire if there's a wait.

One other slight down side is the dining room being upstairs.

It's quirky.
Better get one that takes cats as well;-))
Problem with staying in hotels is the cost of food and laundry.
