Got the GU10 flyleads from LED Hut (thanks Builder), now to wire them up - 0.5mm 3 core flex ok ? rated at 3 amps.
Going to put a junction box in where the now redundant transformers are and run 3 core to the first lamp then to the second and then to the last lamp down that side of the house and do the same on the other side - sound ok ? Led lamps are rated at 5w. All the wiring will be in the eaves/soffit.

You're welcome, Woodchopper.

NOT 0.5mm cable though. Your lighting circuit will most likely be protected by a 6 Amp MCB. 0.5mm is NOT rated for 6 Amps.
Use 1.0mm T&E (twin and earth.)

Forgot to mention am on a different job for this one - replacing MR16 down lighters on soffits of house with 240v gu10's - would 0.75 3 core flex do? Would be a *** trying to get 2 x 1mm twin & earth into those flylead connectors.
0.75mm cable has a current carrying capacity of 6 Amps, so it would just do.
