Dear good AB'ers As a proficient DIY'er is it possible to fit a single fitted electric oven ( Bosch Neff type ) and an electric hob straight into an oven cabinet - Built Under Oven Unit 600mm https://www.travisperkins.co.uk/TP-Dakota-Built-Under-Oven-Unit-600mm/p/743458?gclid=CJj_s_Xx09MCFUFmGwodbjMAoQ - WITHOUT a Worktop ! for the hob . Will the hob fit straight into the top of oven cabinet ? with some adjustments ( I think a double fitted oven would be to big ! BTW ) Will level oven unit cabinet to worktop height on the right and left sides . Thanks good AB'er s GL.

I try to go by the principle that anything is possible, Graham, but in this case, I really can't see how it is possible in the way you suggest.

Most of the depth of a hob is actually fitted within the thickness of the worktop.

Could you not fit a short length of worktop over the unit... just enough to surround the hob in the usual way?

A section of worktop 600mm x 600mm with e.g. a cut-out of 550mm x 550mm to seat the hob.
