I found a water leak in my kitchen this evening. It's right behind a built in kitchen unit and costs wise, I don't want to call a plumber out this time of night - but wait until the morning. I have plenty of bottled water so no problem there.

Can I safely leave my combi boiler on overnight? Obviously I wont be putting the central heating on. Sorry if this sounds a stupid question.

With the mains water pressure off, the boiler cant heat the incoming water. So you will have no hot water tonight. No problem just leave it off till the morning.
The central heating is a separate sealed system and is not affected by the incoming mains.
