Fitting a spyhole in a UPVC front door.

I have purchased a spyhole for a UPVC front door,(states it is for these doors),has anyone out there ever fitted one .
I am afraid to spoil the door.
I have someone to do this but am still very wary...so any advise coming out there..please?

Go ahead, kloofers ........ just make sure you drill the minimum hole size that you need. There'll be a lip of some sort probably, on each side, that should cover the raggy edge of the hole.
It's just a lump of plastics.
Get it drilled! Just use the correct size drill bit .. mark the position accurately, and drill at right-angles to door. Easy : )

What does at right angles mean Albags?
'At right angles' means straight on to the surface of the door, with the drill bit not leaning to the right or the left, nor up, nor down. Also referred to as being 'perpendicular' to the surface...

Thanks.in other words drill dead straight into the door or whatever surface you are drilling into.
If you are unsure with power tools, use a hand drill and go slowly.
