Best way to make a banner

Hi all - hadn't a clue where to post this one!!

Anway - my sis in law is running a half marathon on Sunday - we are going to cheer her on along the route and was thinking of making a DIY good luck banner to egg her on along the way - any suggestions on the best way to go about making one - not very creative lol!!!

If you wish to egg her on her way, get a couple of dozen new laid ones from Tesco and take them with you.

Apart from that, I'd guess an old sheet and a pot of paint ?

Buy or lend two garden canes. Cut a piece of white cloth and sew two channels either side to slip the canes in to, sew top ends up.

A roll of spare wallpaper, use the white side, tack it to two 1"x1" wood batons or broom shanks.
You can paint or use felt tips to say what You want to say.
