Deny what? Deny the existence of a God? Seems pretty sensible to me. Your question means nothing because you ask WHO created the Universe. To a believer, this is obvious. To a non-believer, 'who' doesn't make sense.
I agree with slimjim here. The question presupposes that there is a "who", and slimjim rightly points out that the answer differs whether one is a believer or a non-believer. Question would have been better expressed in "Who or what".
I try not to think about this too much, it scares me!
I must confess, it was my friend Dave, but he was in a hurry. He's now too embarrased to admit it.
Human beings are merely a specks on a speck among infinite billions of specks that exist in a universe that may not have any boundries and is full of entities that we cannot even begin to comprehend. A section of a species of evolved primate on one of these entities that has only been capable of abstract thought for a minute fraction of elapsed time has the answer, yes, it's the "believers".... So guys, you know who created it, it was God, and he created it all for you.
what an excellent answer ll_billym.
The "who created this" question cannot be answered properly. Whether you believe in a creator or not, you must always get to a point where you have to say: "It just is!". If, like me, you believe that there is nothing but physical reality, the whole universe just is. If you believe in a magical creator-being, that explains the universe: the being made it. Fine. Now who created the being? It's essentially the same question, and the answer must be either "it just exists", or "a greater being created it". Neither answer is any more satisfactory than my position. Personally I can't see any reason to imagine imaginary beings being imagined by still higher imaginary beings, nor indeed beings being imagined by themselves. I'm happy with a universe that just is. I could be wrong though...
You're all missing the point. The Universe was created by Quizmonster.
I think New Forester summs it up well. All sense tells me no 'god or highter being' exists. The fact of the matter is that the question can go on forever as it is beyond our understanding. The universe simply is. This however shouldnt give religeous people licence to comfort themselves and hide their ignorance by stating it was god.

this question was ment for those who deny and are very stubborn to realise the existance of the powerful one if you people refuse to believe then lets sit back and think while youre sitting in youre front room watching news you go outside and you find a new passat at youre door step would this car be left by some one or was it driven by someone
OK Alawibaz, I don't accept the existence of the all powerful one and I'm very stubborn about it. I've dropped into this thread while waiting for answers about God in another. I would happily assume that a person drove the car and left it because the term 'person' is defined sufficiently to fit rationally into my view of the cosmos. Now, you define 'God', then we'll take it from there!!
