Hi I have a Stoves Newhome free standing gas cooker which I bought second hand and usually I am delighted with it. However as it was a used cooker I did not get any instruction books with it and I can not find information on line. Here is the problem, ...the blooming alarm that can be pre-set has just developed a mind of its own and goes off at the most random times with a very piercing noise. I can only stop it by making great haste to the offending cooker and hitting any of the three clock buttons on the front. Can anyone please save my sanity by telling me 1- if there is a battery I can access and remove ,or 2 - if I can disable the clock any other way ...Help !!!
