In the 1960s I read a book about the life of an american boy who joined the US Navy. It charted his life while serving. It was a paperback and the picture on the cover was of an arm with a tatoo which I seem to remember was a dagger. I would love to read this book again but cant remeber the Title or the Author. Can anybody help.

If it's the one I am thinking of, it's the true story of Calvin Graham who joined the US navy at the age of tweleve. There is a film of it and you may be able to track down the book from that. It may even have the same title, "Too young the hero".
