Thank God For Boris In 2019.....

I am sure Cadbury's opened a chocolate factory in Banbury and imported some of the workers from their Birmingham factory.
Can anyone confirm this and the year the factory opened?

There was once a Cadbury factory in Banbury, Oxfordshire, but it is no longer operational. It was taken over by Mondelēz and is now a coffee production site. However, there is now a Barry Callebaut chocolate factory in Banbury. Additionally, there's a Chocolate Academy Center within the Barry Callebaut factory, offering training and support to chocolate manufacturers and artisans."
I remember it as the Birds Custard factory, but has now been 're-puposed'!

That was when General Foods owned it. I've never heard of Callebaut chocolate but it is a very well known Swiss chocolate company. Every day is a school day.
I remember when Birds Custard moved from Birmingham - both our neighbours worked there and of course lost their jobs as they didn't want to move. They both went to Cadbury.
