I just think think of what my dear late parents told me
so long as your parents had money = werent factory workers
then I dont think things were too bad.

the problem for me is that the grandchildren - uninterested is putting it lightly
I'm going to have to send that to my son.

She does seem remarkable.
Blimey, she was 46 when WW1 started.

Marina Amiral who posted it colourises old b&w photos. I've got her book 'Colour of Time' which she produced with historian, Dan Jones.

Pretty sure there were a few more people like her at that time who lived over 100 years. The stories they could tell......
