Email from NatWest offering to increase cash withdrawal limit - but it was sent to my wife. Normally I get such emails, but not this time.

I suspect skullduggery.

i'm with natwest and haven't received an email re this
but what would be the purpose? I had an email from santander this morning saying contactless payments were being increased to £45 and we were having a £350 interest free overdraft buffer. And something to do with crrdit cards that i cant remember

The purpose is you have to phone in and verify your account details...
it's a scam then
sorry you missed off that bit of info! sound like a scam then. People are trying to use less cash at the mo anyway
You should at least advise NatWest.
Forward the email to Nat West and ask if it's genuine.
It's a scam, they are after your details.
definitely pass it to Nat West
I had to phone Barclays to increase ATM withdrawal... do the same ! but use a number you are sure of google your bank for contact number
The santander is genuine, it's just to reassure people that they can use their overdraft if they need to without being hit by huge charges,I think they have cut the interest on credit cards, and want people who are in difficulty to phone for support.
That's good to see Rowan.
