Apparently, according to St Alexander of Pointless, when Sgt Pepper was issued it was closer to the end of WW1 than to today. That made me feel very very old.

A lot of things connected to the Music Industry make Mrs B. and myself go B H how long ago?
I read a story about the Rolling Stones a few years ago - their first gig was closer to the sinking of the Titanic than to when I read it, and that would have been about 6 years back..

I was stationed in Germany when Sgt. Pepper came out.
5 years earlier, you could have watched them scraping a living in Hamburg, boaty. 3 years later, it was all over.
When you grew up with them, they seemed such a constant in life. Weren't really around too long, all things considered.
I could indeed. Five years earlier I was in Malaysia, loving the climate!
I think they lost their way.
