I have 3 rescue hand-reared 7-month old sibling kittens, 2 males & 1 female, all black & near identical. One male had white whiskers, now sadly down to 1 white whisker. The female had a smart red breakaway collar which she has just hung on a branch somewhere. What can I do to tell them apart? A dab of peroxide on the top of a head?

I'm hoping you're kidding about the peroxide. :-)

I would suggest that you keep putting breakaway collars on them until you get to know them better. As they grow you should be able to tell them apart easier.

Thanks, 2sp. I'll go & get a replacement breakaway now. maybe I'll fine the shiny red one in the garden when this rain stops. I wouldn't do the peroxide, don't worry! :-)
