Can anyone tell me who was the youngest casualty of World War 1

This interested me, for personal reason, so I looked it up, it was a youg man not quite fourteen, (said he was eighteen), from Waterford City, he was killed on the fields of Flanders, which is a bit poetic, I think, as Poppy day is approaching.

Casualties do not all die. My father, for example, was slightly injured at the age of two. He was rescued by a German prisoner of war, which really confused him when he was later taught that all Germans were bad.
jno, thats very true, and can't be disputed, but i'm assuming angie26 meant combatants, no doubt she'll clarify.

Thanks Octavius, that was what I was after.
Of course, he was the youngest British casualty, there were many other nations involved.
