Can anyone see a marriage record for Irene Cox (nee Rainey) to a Ball? Would be after 1974 and possibly in Wolverhampton ...... or maybe in Eastbourne (& possibly somewhere else altogether) She was born approx 1954, Wolverhampton ..... TIA

If she was born in 1953 and her mothers maiden name was Hill I've found her. But no wedding record though.

Yep , found it. Married Jonathan H Ball in Eastbourne 2002.

maybe they didn't marry until their kids had grown up cos she would have been nearly 50 in 2002, it happened often, the kids would be still legitamised by the marriage but in retrospect, as long as the father is on the birth registration,
