born in mytholmroyd, mother from hebden, dad from northwich, maternal families from yorkshire and lincolnshire back to 1500s, paternal families from cheshire, welsh wales then ireland back to 1450.

I was born in Mansfield,Notts. Mother born in South Shields, her father came from Cork and Mother From Cobh, Dad was born in St Helen's from Irish parents but we don't know whereabouts in Ireland.In fact we know virtually nothing about dads' family.
Cobh is in Cork.

thenry my mum was in his class at hebden bridge grammar school.
Mum's maternal family all Londoners, paternal are all from Cork, dad's maternal side are Londoners but his paternal side are from Belgium/Germany/Netherlands, so I suppose I'm a bit of a bitsa!
Now I am jealous Dotty ! (and still impressed !)
and i know the records show he went to another grammar, but he was in mum's class, and his sister was a friend of my mum's, bernard ingham was in the same school at the same time.
