Whats you verdict - i'm thinking of buying at lunch time

It hasnt blown me away as i was expecting with the supurb reviews it has been getting. I may be alone here though.
The graphics used for the facial expressions are pretty stunning and you can see this is groundbreaking and will be the norm soon.
The game is good, dont get me wrong, but i found a little repetitive (i havent completed it yet, am on disc 2 of 3!) and lacks that punch that Rockstar games normally possess. Although it is a huge sandbox playing area, there is actually little to do other than just drive about unless i have missed something?!
Im trying to finish it quickly so i can trade it back in and recoup some of my money back. I would rate it at a generous 6/10.

"the game is very special indeed"

quote from an absent friend
Dave, my brother got this game on friday and thinks it is great.
As sooper said the facial expressions are brilliant and I like the fact that you have the choice to choose whether to believe what witnesses say.
Great effects.
Did you buy it yet Dave?
I'm really enjoying it. Very immersive but not without its niggles.
Successful answer predictions can be difficult and I had to restart one case as I didnt do something at the correct time so I was left with dead ends - programming error in my opinion.
SuperSuzy not yet I ask some others and like Sooper they pointed out that the graphics are great but that its repetative.

I may wait.
I'd recommend it Dave. The graphics, streets, city buildings etc are excellent.
does seem like the 'incidents' you can choose to attend during your mission are a bit repetetive, but I'm really enjoying it.
I can see a lot of people flying through it and there'll be a lot of trade-ins over the next few weeks.
It needs to have some add-on crimes to download and solve. If they do that, a bit like Red Dead, then the longevity will be there.

Really?! I think its quite dull and boring now, im just plodding through it when i can be bothered! Not a patch on Red Dead when it comes to playability in my opinon.

There was something on "Watchdog" last week about this game. They reckon it can muck up your Playstation. There's something in the software that causes a fault.

Thankfully i dont have a Playstation so im good there!
Its not rocking my world at all and im on disc 3 now and i cannot wait for it to finish so i can trade it in, its so repetitive and there isnt a lot you can do, although it is a huge sandbox environment you are so limited. If i didnt know, i would never have guessed this is a Rockstar game.
Just shows how different we all are i guess ;)

Me? I loved it. Very much in tune with previous RockStar games, IMO.If you want fast paced FPS, then this would definitely not feel right, and the use of clues and facial observations took some getting used to - but for me, I thought the scripting and the overarching plot line was excellent - the experience was like an immersive movie, with nods to some great movies, such as L.A Confidential etc.I think they captured the mood and feel of film noir really well.
Thoroughly enjoyed it ;)

It was good for the first few hours but then the boredom set in, unless you enjoy doing the same thing over and over, i dont!
Its nothing like Red Dead or the GTA series where you could get lost for hours just wandering around doing what you want , this tilte doesnt have this luxury, you cant even pull your gun out!! It doesnt comare.
