***best pc games ever - your opinions!!!***
I've been a die-hard PC gamer for many years now and have seen many fantastic titles come and go, but there are some that, for me, will shine on forever. Here are my top 5 PC games of all time with a brief description of why.
5 > Hind
This helicopter sim saw you piloting the fearsome Russian Hind with absurd levels of realism and a real warfare feeling.
4 > Clive Barker's Undying
The most blindingly frightening horror game that's ever existed (although Realms Of The Haunting came close).
3 > Grand Prix Legends
Mostly because of the superb, ahead of their time physics and car handling as well as the sound, but also because it's the only game I could never beat my dad at :]
2 > Quake 1
Not much explanation needed here, on release this caused more jaws to drop that anything else. The single player, although it's linear nowadays, was beyond simply being a game - YOU became the game when playing. The multiplayer is what we can thank as the progenitor to all multiplayer gaming today.
1 > Total Annihilation
Well, if I added up the hours that I've spent battling it out in this perfectly balanced strategy game, I think the men in white coats may come and take me away. And in all that time, not once did I ever get bored, tired or sidetracked.

No Half-Life games??? Hmmm then i can not agree. Total Annihilation and Quake 1 were great games, the rest i do not know. I loved Duke Nukem 3D and Doom 1 & 2. Half-Life Team Fortress Classic is a good game as well. I like a lot of games but I still do not agree that they are the best ever. Sorry :(.
Oh yeah just to point out I do like some of the new stuff also. For instance the hidden source and command and conquer 3. Also a lot of Half Life 2 mods. The old games were still the best though, you are right about that.

9.Evil genius
you take command of a load of workers upgrade them in to scientist and guards and take load of evil steals in the world including stealing the Eifle tower, The 5 Billion dollar bill,
The big ben , and The tower of pisa.
8.Age of empires 2 age of kings !
a supieror game of its time made in 1995 it was the best game out making youre own kingdom dealing with gold supplies food and stone plus wood made it a high tech game with great graphics you would declare war on your enemies and shoot flares for youre allies to come and help truly one of the best games i know.
7. Heroes might and magic 3 a great game consist of you being a leader of a group of monster that live in a choice of lairs depending on how much resources you have you can upgrade and buy more monsters incuding manticores minoutors griffins cyeclops's and more a great game in my accord
6.Sims 1 ma'kin magic taking back to the world of sims one making magic was a creative game including magic when yuo would dule and cast spell to people to turn into toads and make people fall into holes.
5. aeroplane fligher
a game of witch you become a pilot cadet and prove that you can fly a plane you go through courses and become to be in a flight war! a great game when it comes to areoplane games
4. Startopia
a game where you have your own space hotel and kingdom create movie theater massage rooms for your vistors recruit new members of your army for when you have a battle with the slashers (great giant black slashing things!) and other kingdoms for terrotry one of my favourite games of all time.

battle you way through to victory in this stratergy game become one of 4 teams the orcs , chaos ,space marines, and lecame destroy there leaders and gods in an epic battle.
2. Rise and fall
become a heroes of 4 side egypt romans or celts
if you choose egypt you become ra the god of eagles
if you choose roman you become ceasar the greatest ruler of romans
if you choose celts you become boudicca the greatest women fighter of them all
i level with your hero upgrade youre army become your hero and control him a game witch is unique where you can control your hero .

instead of 4 teams to battle agaisn you have 7 nuch more battles defeat 7 to win victory with leaders of the necrons
the thorng and the the imprial guard the necrons being able to be summoned back form death throngs being able to kill in one hit and imperial guard just being little and small but god! there lots of them!
