I bought a load of grapes, possibly too many, and I thought of putting some in a jelly but the skins may be a little tough for chomping through a jelly. Is there a way of softening them beforehand?

Give 'em a good suck?
I put grapes into jelly and I think they will be ok as they are, just cut them in half
I think they'll be OK as they are too. I often put them in jellies and have never found them tough.
I cut them in half if the skins are a bit tough.

Already tried that with the dog Ginge. What d'yer think made them hard in the first place? Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll give that a go. Might as well bung the raspberries in as well. Weren't very sweet anyway.
if you have to many why dont you freeze some
