Porterhouse Steaks

Last year on an American cruise ship we were lucky enough to enjoy the most amazing Porterhouse steaks, a cut which we'd never tried before but would love to try again.
I know the T-Bone is similar, but not quite the same cut and I'd love another Porterhouse without having to go to the lengths of going on another cruise!

Does anyone know of any speciality butchers or steakhouses that sell/serve the Portehouse?

Thanks!

well I did try the butchers in our village, and he looked at a bit blankly at me. They have 10 kinds of award winning sausages, but apparently don't know what a Porterhouse is. Maybe I'll try a bigger butchers.

A portehouse is a bit like a T-Bone steak, only bigger.
You still have T-Bone, with a Strip Sirloin steak on one side, and a tenderloin steak on the other. The T-Bone has a much smaller portion of tenderloin steak on it as it's cut from further forward where as the Porterhouse is cut from further back so the Filet Mignon/tenderloin, which is one of the nices steak cuts ever is quite large. I like T-Bone steaks, but the Porterhouse was something else all together.
