How do you eat your pasta ......spaghetti in particular, who on earth decided it is best eaten with a spoon & a fork ? This method doesn't work and you end up twizzling the pasta around and around and then when you think its ready to put in your mouth, it falls off !!!!!!! Anyone got any better suggestions....it goes cold by the time you get to actually eat some.

i cut it up with a knive and fork first, then put the knife down and just use the fork to shovel it in.
Spoon and fork works for me..
I like the twizzling method. It adds to the pleasure of eating it. Husband doesn't though so he ends up cutting it up.
I twizzle it with just the fork. I point the fork downwards and use the base of the bowl/plate instead of a spoon.
i use spoon and forks no probs
Twizzlie with a fork, then...
spoon and fork, or just a fork. Works very well for me too
im not a very good twizzler so i just break the spaghetti in half before i put it in the water to cook
Twizzling here no worries! Like Lottie,a fork or spoon and fork if I can be bothered.
lol looby, read the question again. :-)
Just a fork......I hate seeing any kind of pasta being cut with a knife and fork.It seems so...........wrong.. :-(

eh? society? lol .... yeah i did read the question properly .. didnt i??

i was saying im not a very good twizzler with the spaghetti and a fork,
so, i break the dry uncooked spaghetti into 3 smaller lengths,
and that way i can eat it better with my fork, without needing to twizzle it up to find it just drops off before it gets to my mouth..

yes? ... or have i still missed the plot?? lol ...
I always use spoon and fork and with no trouble. An italian friend told me this was best.
Fork. It's not hard!
twizzle and slurp, its half the fun
I grew up with loads of Italian relatives....none of them used a spoon.
I think I may be the only person that cannot abide pasta (the food, not you pastafreak lol) ;)
I'll second that cazzz - but all the others love it.
