I need some advice pretty urgently please. Do you think it will be ok to use last years homemade mincemeat which I froze. It has quite a bit of alcohol in it and it looks and tastes fine.

Thank you

If it smells and tastes ok, it'll be fine to use.

Thank you both. I will use it.
I keep soaked mincemeat for years, many years and use when ever needed. The alcohol preserves the fruits. I have a full gallon jar of mincemeat soaking for about four years.

I'm quite sure your frozen mincemeat will be fine to use.

Well, I've used it, eaten some pies and I'm still here to tell the tale. Thanks for replying and I wish everybody a fabulous Xmas.
