Why is it that when you buy a loaf of fresh bread from a supermarket they put it in such crappy wrapping? All the ends of the wrapping tear apart and the bread has goen stale by the end of the day. Can't they invest in some better glue!

Hi there milly143, I'm starting to wonder whether it's the the way the bread is made that makes it go off quick, bread these days seems to not be as hardy as bread from the old days, maybe something to do with a change in the ingredients.
Don't rely on it...just get a bag from produce-and rewrap in that before you leave the shop.
I do the baking in my store at weekends, and all i can say is that I put it in the bags and wrappers that are in my cupboard. Oddly enough I don't have a say in which manufacturors we get said bags from, and to be honest I don't really care that much either :-)

Like Pasta says, shove it in a further bag if it's that much of an issue.
