Oh it looks so easy too
i;ve been watching and i think you need a certain level of competancy and confidence, as your often doing a few tings at once - its not for a beginner.

It is if you arent pressed for time, give it a go its so flavoursome and fresh tasting, and its reasonbly cheap, using the chicken thighs,we used more than 4 thighs as they were quite small, couldnt get smoked sweet parprika, used ordinary paprika, bet you will love it...
I want to make the sausage ragout, but we haven't got the recipe, I've asked about on here, but noone knows it. I know roughly how it goes . . . but no idea of the proportions.
just bung it all in and hope for the best molly
no, not actually done any of them yet but have googled up the recipe for oozy mushroom risotto with spinach salad, and quick lemon and raspberry cheesecake, and will have a bash at it sometime over the next few weeks. it was on tv over the week-end and looked totally delish.
Plus we're going to add an apple which should go well with the pork.
But I agree about the timings, I consider my self a good cook, but things always take me longer than the stated preparation time. It'll probably take me 40-45 mins just to do the ragout without a pudding.

Hi ethan, that sounds really nice,i love rissotto, maybe give that recipe a try...
Going to have a go at doing the frangipane but instead of doing little ones, i'll do one big one.

Will probably have a go at doing his banoffee pie too....although not too sure about the camp coffee running through the cream....i'd rather toffee sauce.
depend on how many questions you have to ask, could still be here tomorrow.....
Thanks ethanron, but i've tried looking and it seems the 30minute meals only stay on for a week. And mum only decided when we went shopping on friday that she wanted to try it.
Hi poodicat,
My husband made the steak sandwich, little roast potatoes and beetroot salad (we didn't do the stuffed mushrooms as we had bought some stuffed peppers that were on offer instead) that Jamie made last Thursday. It was fantastic! but took longer than 30mins. You definately need to be organised and have made it before to be able to do it in 30mins :o)
All his 30 minute recipes are in his book Molly.

Hi! My daughter tried the same recipe and it was a disaster. You need to be experienced to do this in 30 mins!
Young people do not cook as have little time with working long hours and convenience foods being so easy and available. A Tesco £10 meal would have been more successful and certainly more economical!

rosa, sorry dont have much time you having a giraffe,i work long hours all the time with hardly any time off,its going to take longer than 3o minutes i agree for some, but its feasible say within a hour...
Not only young people rosa, we rarely cook anything after work that takes more than 30 minutes to get read. OH limits his to 20 minutes - we get a lot of pasta!
