Further from the "Shepherds pie" thread, i will try to add a tin of baked beans to any dish i can.
Spaghetti bol is beautiful with beans and worcester sauce as is both shepherds and cottage pie. Put a layer of beans on top of the mince and veg then add mash for a beautiful "beano pie" and do the same with corned beef hash....delish
The problem is that with many dishes the flavour of the sauce in the baked beans can overpower the flavour of the dish itself. I may not want that, in which case I'd just have the beans on the side instead.
