Perhaps I could make you up a nice picker-nik basket!!

Buttered rolls, some lovely cooked seasoned chicken, roast beef perhaps, a cheese and onion quiche, some smoked salmon....potato or pasta salad...green house tomatoes...big bowl of strawberries and cream...a toffee cake...big bottle of cold rose wine...
Unless I am missing something, why is this posted every day and made a "sticky". What is the menu for?
I've changed my mind, I want the pick nic basket!
What no Goose!
I'm whispering as I have a hangover but can I have the prawn cocktail, pork steaks and cheesecake please mercia. Should I have a hair of the dog or not? Ok then, a glass of rose.

another - it's just something I put up for fun everyday, not to everubody's taste I know, I've had enough flak about it being pointless etc, that's why i put for those interested at the beginning. It's the Ed that makes it a sticky, not me - and I didn't ask him to, he just likes it.
No problem. Just wondering. It all sounds lovely.

buy dried marrow fat peas, soak in cold water overnight with some bicarbonate of soda, rinse in the morning, bring to boil in salted water with some fresh mint if liked, then simmer on a low light, after about 15 mins the skins will start to come off. Drain, mash with fork, check seasoning, serve
