Do you have any special recommendations at the moment? I have just eaten, straight from the can with a teaspoon, ASDA skinless and boneless mackerel fillets with extra virgin olive oil and lemon slice. Quite expensive (99p for 125g) but absolutely gorgeous!

99p is hardly a king's ransom!

Mackerel is a very oily fish, it can border on nauseating, but by heck ASDA have got this one just right. Go on, spoil yourself!

Love smoked mackerel very moreish,dont buy the cans but either vacum packed or fresh,will have to try and make a pate with mackerel!!!

Good food. Wouldn't eat out of the can mind. I would have least made a side salad and pretended it was a real meal.
