I'm going for the first time tomorrow and not sure what to expect to be honest. Has anyone been? Will I be coming back with armfuls of fab food? Will I need a second mortgage for it all?

Thanks, I'm really looking forward to it. Wine glass might not be so useful though..am 8 months pregnant!! ;o)
Yeah its at Birm NEC. Tap it in google. Its on til Sunday I think.
just got back from the food show at the nec and it was great, really enjoyed it. saw gordon ramsey's show which was really funny. personally, i wouldn't bother with the wine glass (which costs 5) as all the wine/beer/drinks places give you plastic cups anyway, and when you do hold out your wine glass they only give you the same amount, i thought the wine glasses were a rip off.
i bought some kitchen devils knives and a pair of scissors, a pair of very modern steel salad servers, and a turkey baster. ate loads of free samples of cheese, sausage, olives, chocolate.
there's lots of walking to do, so you may find it a bit tiring at 8 months pregnant, the usual queues for the ladies loos, and not many places to just sit and rest. i thoroughly enjoyed it and will probably go again next year (there's one in june 2009 too).
