Hey everyone, I'm cooking dinner for my family tonight and have decided to use chicken thighs. What is the best way of cooking them? I usually use chicken breast, so this is something new for me lol! Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks :-)

I made a curry last night using thighs.Tesco selling them boned and skinned.Used them same as breast We both thought it was tasty and much cheaper.I have cooked them in the past with the bone in and just casseroled them Meat just falls off the bone!
I like them too. Just do the same with them as you would with breast meat. I think they're tastier.

Mmmmm that sounds so nice Rumbling. I was told that the thigh meat is tastier, so i thought i'd try it. I'm not sure what to cook it with yet though lol!

Thank you both :-) I'll try cooking them the same as breast meat then.
Coq au Vin is good with thighs as theyre nice and Juicy

A friend made a Jamie Oliver recipe once with thighs, squashed new potatoes and tomatoes and I think basil - it was GORGEOUS, mmmmuch more delicious than it should have been with such simple ingredients!
Bound to be online somewhere
take off the skin and light fry to seal, add veg i.e.onion, mushrooms, sliced peppers 3 different ones to add colour, thin sliced longwise carrots, maybe courgettes etc if you like, add some chicken stock [ Knorr chicken stock in the small round tin is ideal] then pour over a jar of Lemon and ginger sauceor sweet & sour sauce, put tin foil over the dish for about 1 hour in the oven and then remove foil to brown off the food, serve with rice.
much nicer than chicken breasts that can get very dry.
Ideal for curries as said above.
