Hello All, where does one buy a Tagine without getting ripped off? Surely people of North African origin buy cooking pots in the UK at less than the exorbitant rates advertised on the tintraweb? I've seen quotes such as 70; for a bloody cooking pot? That's ridiculous! Surely the average North African Housewife living in the UK doesn't have to pay that much for something that would more than likely be an everyday item across the Med? It must be similar to us going to Ikea and spending 5 on a frying pan here? Any ideas ABers?
TIA

I've seen them in TK Maxx for 15 - although they never seem to have the same sort of stuff twice :(. I have also seen them in the Lakeland catalogue
i'm not sure what part of the country you are in ,but many ethnic shops stock them , i work near portobello road in london .which has a large morroccan community so lots of shops sell them , they are quite heavy so any form of mail order would be expensive on postage
