i was told to use grahams crackers in a recipe, but couldnt find any, do we have those in england?
are jacobs cream crackers the same thing?

what a silly twit i am, never mind, they might taste allright.

Here in the U.S., these are a popular brand. They are made from Graham flour, are hard, but crumble easily and when dipped in milk must be eaten immediately or they simply dissolve. They are used in many recipes, especially as crust for cheesecakes...

clanad this recipe is called layered cookie bars and was given to me by another american friend who freqents this place also, i was in two minds wether to use digesrives or the british cream crackers, opted for cream crackers.

Whenever I see a recipe from the States (I,m from the UK) using graham crackers I always use digestive biscuits. It always works out.
