Can a mini fridge like the ones sold in Argos for around #15 be left of 24/7 without it breaking down?

We had one in the shop for a year and a half, it was on constantly and it has just now stopped working. Its worth having one and they only cost �20.

Thanks for that I just got one in Argos to keep a few things in when I'm in the office and it only cost #12.99 What a little bargain
