Loss of sense of smell

Hi, I've just had a bout of flu' and although I can breathe through my nose I have absolutely no sense of smell. My taste isn't great either. It's very annoying. Is this quite common after Flu?

Hmmm, it could be a good thing. At least you wont smell any farts...

Thank you. Still can't smell even the strogest of odours such as eucalyptus oil. Fingers crossed it will return soon. most annoying!

Belive me, Mr Ben, after having flu and my baby also suffering, smelling farts is the least of my worries.
