I am making a lasagne tonight i can make a good ragu and a good bechemel sauce, but what order do i layer the two sauces and the pasta in - and do i include mozarella as some recipes suggest, and if so where does that go? which should i have on the top of the lasagne?

thanks for any help! (my boyf does all our cooking but he's out and am cooking for the girls!)

Hi pagey3
If you are using the 'no pre-cooking' lasagne put sauce first then bechemel then pasta as tha pasta need to absorb liquid as it is cooking.
Top layer should be bechemel with a light coating of grated cheese or torn up mozarella.
You've made me hungry now :0)

(And if you want it firm and not gloopy, save it once it's cooked, then reheat it and have it tomorrow night).

thanks guys - heathfield thats the plan i'm making both sauces this eve then will put it together and cook it tomorrow! fingers crossed....!
