Bovril crisps? Oooooh yes! Last I ever saw were in the motorway service station north of Carlisle -many years ago. Bought a dozen packets. Alas, long gone!
Edinburgh farmers' market, Castle Terrace. 9 - 2 on Saturday. Come and get a bag of Bovril crisps served hot at The Crisp Hut. Can also offer with extra mustard, chili, italian cheese, garlic salt (best seller!) cajun spice or a dozen other flavours as well if you want.

See you there, and dress to impress please.

And I'm sure you are aware they make Bovril as a vegetarian spread - no cow in it unless you buy the drink powder (like what I use). The pastes are a yeast based thing to get a flavour. Practically the same as marmite then. . .
sigh..... Nickmo do you ever get downto the midlands? the Crisp Hut sounds like my kind of heaven
Oooh, I used to love these! I think Smiths still do bovril flavour in the Square crisps but they're a bit over powering.
Hiya mccfluff - not travelling that far at the moment - too many things at this end of the map. Big sorries and all that.

So why aren't you booking a trip to the glorious Edinburgh then for a wee breakette? Only 40 mins if you get on a plane at East Mids. . . ?
Mmmm bovril crisps. They were lovely. I hate the marmite crisps , they are just awful. They don't make them like they used to. (sigh)
