My dad has stomach problems, IBS, ulcer etc, he's also diabetic and has angina!

He has asked me to try and find a suitable butter he can put on his toast, anyone know of anything suitable for him? He's been using utterly butterly but it's not been good for him!

Thanks in advance!

The lowest fat spread that I have found is Flora Diet at about 4.5g per 100 g. I am diabetic and had tummy problems due to liver probs and dosen't upset my stomach. Flora also do a salt free one and one of the pro active ones to reduce cholestoral. The taste is not bad (I prefer it!) but some people take alittle while to adjust if they are real butter lovers! You do have to keep flora in the fridge though soft spreads go a bit greasy if left out. My mother in law uses St Ival Gold ultra light or extra light that is also good and quite creamy in taste but not as low in fat.
