OMG, I have run out and its like, only 9.45pm. Are shops open tomorrow as usual and just for the sake of retail therapy, are the likes of debenhams, new look etc open as well cos I might go shopping and spend a little..... If answer is no, does anyone live within dropping off a few tea bags distance from Colchester Zoo? Don't drink, given up smoking, on a diet, all thats left is me cuppa..... :(

Most shops will be open on Easter Monday - probably Sunday hours or a little longer.

Ahhh..... my lovely hubby has suggested we run over to give you some. But i'm afraid I am ready for bed and he's had too much to drink (not tea!) in order to drive!!

Isn't Jan and Phils in Magedelen Street Colchester open tonight? Or failing that one of the petrol stations (shell in tiptree?) or one of those spar-type shops? Our local one was open when we came past about an hour ago. (we are near Sudbury btw, and we were only in tiptree/colchester 4 hours ago!)

Or failing that have you a nice neighbour you could borrow some from? What a predicament!! (I hate it when we run out of tea!!)

I favour the petrol station option.otherwise, if you are really , really desperate get an old one out of the bin. Gross I know but there are times when you have to have a cuppa

Polotoo that is sooo sweet. Neighbours (as per) are out. How dare they have a life when I have run out of tea bags. Just had a coffee with some condensed milk in (how my Nan used to make it) and it was surprisingly good so may be able to last out til manyana. :)

Alibobs, luckily I keep them in a little dish next to the kettle for a while so won't have to delve in the bin if it all gets too much for me....
Most shops will be open today, certainly supermarkets and Im pretty sure the major shops, enjoy your bank holiday therapy
Poglet I'm so sorry I didn't read your posting yesterday - I live in Lexden and would have happily popped over with some tea bags... xx
