About 3� minutes.

Or if you are one of those that 'hard boils' a hen's egg for half an hour until the outside of ther yolk goes blue, then it's about 7� to 8 minutes

Thanks. I don't want horrible grey bits, but i do want it properly hard-boiled: no manky runny bits! I'll give it a go your way, anyway. :-)
