I didnt know that India is the world's largest milk producer, with 22 percent of global production .

Apologies, I've been researching and what I've found comes as no surprise, the vast majority of production is in Udder Pradesh.
Chinese people aren't keen on dairy produce.

Tea (chai) in India, at least on railway stations & the streets, is made by putting the leaves, milk & sugar (much) in water & boiling the lot together.
Often served in small clay low-temp. fired bowls which get thrown & smashed onto the tracks.

I prefer milk after it's been churned, it's butter that way...
